*CuZn KR-101 filters over 600 types of contaminants including heavy metals, chlorine, herbicides, pesticides, many pharmaceuticals & more. *Designed for use with chlorine treated municipal water &/or well water applications. *Breaks down contaminants in 3 stages, a proprietary reticulated KDF-55 stage, high purity – acid washed coconut shell GAC stage & a 5 micron sediment/particulate stage. *MATRIKX Pb1Filters/reduces soluable lead using an ion-exchange filter medium with high specificity for soluable lead. Particulate filtration is used to intercept insoluable lead-containing particles. *Excellent for the removal/reduction of free chlorine and all chlorine bi-products, Organic chemicals and volitile organic chemicals. *Turbidity and Cyst reduction, including cryptosporidium, Giardia, Entamoeba and Toxoplasma.
