Design details (below right): All the parts of this system are of the highest quality and all the metal parts are chrome plated or stainless steel. This Small Super Duty Shower Filter System begins with high flow one micron sediment filter designed to remove the undissolved pollutants (iron, sand, silt, rust, scale, etc.). This filter gets out the big stuff. The second is a very sophisticated KDF (kinetic degradation function) filter comprised of 55 ounces of atomized copper and zinc, the most amount used in any shower filter in the industry and enough to truly address 20,000 gallons of water. These two filters in combination form a potent unit capable of cost effectively cleaning the very dirty water now coming out of your shower; rendering it clean and chlorine free.

A non adjustable Siroflex shower head comes standard with these units (see image above left); however any type of shower head can be used with the Super Duty Shower Filter System (above right).​

The image (above left) pictures both a new replacement first filter and a very used-up first filter removed from one of our Super Duty Shower Filter Systems installed in a New York City apartment. You can easily see that the water in Manhattan is extremely polluted. It took only 63 days to blacken and clog this first shower filter. Just think of all that filth on your skin and in your hair, not to mention your kidneys. These first filters take a lot of abuse and, compared to the second and more sophisticated filter, must be changed at a ratio of about 4 to 1.
